This Thursday, 8/17, the school board will hold a special board meeting to discuss the increase in enrollment at MUSD sites and the impacts on facilities. This conversation may address the possibility of 6th grade students moving to Middletown Middle School for future school years.

Mr. Owens writes, "We have over 100 more kids in our school right now than we did at the close of school last year. Some of them are due to the increase in TK students and some of them are just awesome kids and families that wanted to live in our town and go to our schools.

We will have a board workshop on Thursday, August 17th at 6:00 PM in the MHS multi-use room to discuss facilities options. Staff members, families and community are allowed to comment at board workshops at the discretion of the Board President. So, if you have ideas for solutions to facilities issues I encourage you to come to the workshop."
