Ricky of Wildlife Encounters shared some interesting reptiles and amphibians with students at Coyote Valley on Tuesday, Oct. 18th.  Students were introduced to a bearded dragon, hog-nose snake, milk snake, Fire Bellied Toad, Cuban Tree Frog, Tortoise and more!  A crowd favorite was "Banana" a 10 foot long albino python snake.  Teachers and students really got "wrapped up" in the assembly while helping show off Banana.  The educational focus of the assembly was to discuss how different animals protect themselves from predators.  Mimicry, playing dead, camouflage, and special body features were all mentioned as ways these animals help survive in the wild.
