New Bus Identification

Buses have a new identification effective immediately.  Each bus  has been assigned a color to identify the route.  The routes colors are red, blue, green and yellow.  Each day the bus providing service to the route will have the corresponding color clearly posted on the side of the bus by the front doors.

The bus schedule has also been updated to refer to the new color system.  Please see the attached document for a bus schedule printout.

The purpose of going to a color identification system is to alleviate the confusion when spare buses are used (due to breakdowns) that have different bus numbers.  A system of identifying routes by bus driver was better, but still didn't cover the confusion by students when a substitute driver was in for a regular driver.

With the new color system students will easily be able to recognize their bus by the magnetic color strip on the outside.  Please be sure your child knows what color bus they ride each day.
