Stormy Weather Procedures

The Middletown Unified School District Office provides a recorded message during stormy weather to alert parents of changes in bus stops and of alternative times when school will begin or end.  Weather conditions can change dramatically during the morning hours.  Every effort will be made to have updated recorded messages on the following phone line by 7:00 am.  The number for this updated recording is 987-4149.  The District website is also a source of information during inclement weather.

HABIT OF THE WEEK

BE A REPORTER, DON’T TATTLE ON OTHERS:

  A REPORTER:

  •              Wants to keep themselves or others safe
  •            Is concerned about safety
  •            Knows that someone may be hurt  or in danger

 SOMEONE TATTLING:

  •             Wants to get someone else in trouble or avoid blame
  •               With a tattle no one is hurt or in danger
  • ·          Tattling is not an important problem and can be solved         without an adult

Please help your child with ways to implement the habit into their day.
